Kathryn is 5'6 with wavy, though sometimes more curly than wavy, long blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a very sporty frame and full lips with a pale complexion. She tends to dress eclectically, her clothing depending on her mood for the day.

Personality:
In the beginning, before she really knows someone, Kathryn is extremely shy and reserved. She is that person that has a ton of doubts about her appearance and her personality. She is quiet and calm, and would rather be lost in a crowd than the center of attention. She is that person that will keep her opinions to herself, rather than voice them and feel like a fool if someone disagrees.

She doesn't believe that she is worthy of love or friendship, and instead focuses all of her energy on work and her hobbies. She will run herself ragged before she admits that she's lonely and seeks out another's company. She is kind and honest, even if it means hurting someone's feelings.

When someone really gets to know her she is very full of life and fun-loving. She can laugh at most of her issues, and she puts on the heir that there is nothing wrong with her. She sees Nature and Horseback riding as her escape, and feels more comfortable around horses than other people.

History:
Kathryn was born as an only child to Mary Beth and Joseph St. Pierre. At the age of two her parents divorced and her mother left Seattle Washington for the frigid air of Codot, Wisconsin. She spent her childhood with her father, who never remarried. At the age of 17, just a few months before her high school graduation, her father was killed in a drunk driving accident. Feeling as though her whole world was ripped apart, Kat was forced to move to Wisconsin to finish out her last year of high school.

She withdrew from the world and took to painting and amatuer photography to keep herself from losing it. Her mother didn't understand her withdrawal and took it has a sign that she was Depressed. The fact was, that Kat was simply trying to cope with the loss of the only parent who had been there for her over the years. When she graduated she chose a college and started her Freshman Semester the summer after graduation. She felt as though living with her mother any longer would drive her crazy.

At college she was introduced to horseback riding. Her freshman year she spent every waking hour on a horse, so long as her studies were done. That was where she met Riles. Riles was the professor and instructor of the Equine Studies department and nearly 14 years her senior. She saw him as a father figure, and made it a point to sign up for all of his available classes. Before she knew it, he was using his seniority and age to draw her into a relationship. It was an odd relationship, because she was thirsty for a replacement for her father and he only saw her as a conquest.

Near the end of her Junior year he became aggressive, obviously feeling guilty playing games with an innocent. Everyone in her classes seemed to adore her, and made points to attempt to draw her out of her shell. In class Riles was curt at best with her, though behind closed doors the more it became obvious that she was still just a girl the more aggressive he become. It would not be until she ended up in the hospital with a fractured collar bone that their relationship ended. Afraid that he would lose his job or face prosecution, Riles left his job at the university and moved.

Kat never spoke a word of the abuse to anyone, shamed that she had let it get as far as it had. She sucked it up and drew back into herself, finishing her studies as quickly as possible. The day before she graduated she made a rather hasty decision. She purchased a horse from one of her classmates and booked a plane ticket for the first town she'd never heard of. She needed to disappear and she did a fine job of it. With her degree in hand, and desperate for a job, she found herself on the doorstep of Saving Grace Ranch.
