Iris is the main barn manager, so she's a bit of a workaholic. However, she always makes time for her horses and the people she cares about. Here is her biography. I'm very open to having characters know each other beforehand too!

Friends-

Iris is shy, but she is very friendly once she relaxes a little bit. She tends to be a mothering type, taking in emotionally wounded people (and animals). She is especially sympathetic to those who have been abused, in any sense of the word.

Enemies-

Since she is very sensitive, Iris tends to get her feelings hurt a lot. It may be by accident, but perhaps you accidentally insulted her, and she really took it to heart? Who knows.

I think heartbreak would be the best way to go ;) Maybe she falls for someone who just does not see her that way?

I certainly could see Iris and Kat being close friends. Possibly best friends? Kat was emotional abused by her mother, and then basically used and abused by her college professor. She is shy just like Iris, and it's very hard for her to open up or connect with people. It would be nice for her to be completely comfortable with someone, and not be worried about what they think of her.
