Wild Horses

First off, to be able to even get a wild horse, yo need to meet a few requirements. You must have space in your party for the animal (aka, not have 5 horses, or have purchased the extra horse spot). The character must be a minimum of 16 years old, you must purchase the Wild Horse item from the Tack and Feed shop and finally, you must have a minimum of 10 posts on that character.

Meet those requirements? Good. When you are ready to go out looking for your new horse, post a thread anywhere you like (usually the trails) and notify the staff that you are out looking. Staff will make a wild horse for you to encounter (ref sheet included). Staff will RP the horse but you are not obligated to catch it. You may take as many tries for a wild horse as you may like, however, to keep our workload even, you may only have a thread once every three days and you must exit the last one we put together for you (you can just say the character walked away in a proper post).

Why a Wild Horse?
There is an advantage to getting a wild horse. Not only when you break them in (by attending 2 training sessions) do they start at a Junior level, but they also sell for much higher than a ember created horse. Their foals also sell for more as well.

Are wild horses always mustangs?
No, not by any means, though a larger number of them are mustangs or other wild breeds. Any breed may show up in a wild horse encounter.
