PHYSICAL;;Full Description:
Dani tops 5'7" and is actually built to ride; long legs, long arms, short torso, slim-bordering-on-skinny. She hit the genetic jackpot and she won't let it go to waste. Her hair is naturally a medium brown, but she dyes it dark regularly. Her blue eyes complete the picture. She's rarely found not wearing breeches, tall boots, and a polo shirt.
Disabilities:
Reduced bone density; she is at a higher risk to break bones.

MENTAL;;Personality:
Dani is professional as they come - which is bad and good for her. She's basically got her entire life invested in horses, and she's not about to give that up for anyone. She talks, but not about important things. She makes friends, but not best friends. Overall, she is very careful with her reputation, and figures that if she's just the quiet trainer with great results, no one will have anything against her.
Likes:
Upbeat music, a great round, difficult rides, taking her boots off after a long day, alone time
Dislikes:
Nosy people, most food, lack of dedication, complaining, bugs
Hobbies:
The stupid little farming games on Facebook. She bought a smartphone to play those at the barn. She knows they're dumb and is kind of an addict.
Fears:
Anyone finding out about her past - Dani would literally rather die than have anyone know who she used to be.
PAST;;History:
Dani's the daughter of a businessman and a freelance writer. She never wanted for anything, and when she wanted a pony and riding lessons, she got them. He first horse was a medium pony named Oscar, and they cleaned up the local A shows. Dani was hooked for life.
The problems started when Dani was 13 and started getting more into showing. She made her debut in the equitation ring, and she knows exactly the moment her downward spiral began. It was when she showed with the barn at away shows, and she spent weekends with the older riders who won everything they entered - and were perpetually on the eq diet. Dani started associating blue ribbons with skinny girls, and at age 13 she started watching what she ate.
It wasn't too bad, at first. She actually did start to ride better when she began working out, and her clothes definitely fit better. Dani was under control, mostly until she was 17 and it was crunch time for her junior career.
Her competitive instinct kicked into high gear and not only did she have to get the blue, she also had to wear the smallest breeches. That was when she started going downhill for real. Dani started out her last junior show season very well, but as she dropped weight, she also dropped in the ribbons. She was too weak to muscle around the horses she used to love.
Her parents didn't notice for months; Dani was at the barn or at shows and they were busy people, anyways. It was at her graduation, after she nearly fainted in her too-big gown that they realized something was terribly wrong.
Dani was forced to postpone her college entrance to go to intensive inpatient therapy, and following that, outpatient treatment. She was 20 by the time she began college, and at that time, her precious reputation had fallen by the wayside. She was no longer the girl who could ride anything; she was nobody.
She rode IHSA for two years and was moderately successful, still underweight. Following her graduation, Dani moved back in with her parents and worked part-time at a coffee shop while she tried to find a training job. It was what she had always wanted to do, and now that the pressures of equitation were behind her, she felt that she could deal with it.
It took years of being a working student and flipping horses before Dani found an opening at Saving Grace.

EQUESTRIAN DETAILS;;Rider's Best Event

Rider's Worst Event
Cross-country. Solid fences freak her out.
Horse's Show Name: Gameboy SGR
Horse's Barn Name: Gameboy
Barn: Main Barn
Breed: Holsteiner
Gender: Gelding
Age: 8
Height: 17.2
Coat Color: Chestnut
Eye Color: Brown
Markings or Brands: Blaze, left hind sock, flaxen tail
Discipline(s): Hunters
Personality: Gameboy is a total goofball. He doesn't act like he's any older than 4. He likes to mouth at people, although knows better than to use teeth, and he requires babying in the ring. He doesn't find his own distances (doesn't seem to know how) and while he'll keep the same cadenced canter all day long, he varies his trot speed and length by quite a bit if left to his own devices. He's a good boy, though, and tries hard to please whoever's on his back.

Horse's Show Name: Quantum Disco
Horse's Barn Name: Disco
Barn: Main Barn
Breed: Dutch Warmblood
Gender: Gelding
Age: 13
Height: 17.0
Coat Color: Bay
Eye Color: Brown
Markings or Brands: Star, partial stripe
Discipline(s): Hunters
Personality: "Grumpy old man," anyone? If Gameboy acts half his age, Disco acts twice his. He's a been-there, done-that kind of horse and he doesn't tolerate BS from anyone. He would much rather sit in his stall all day and eat, and if he's away from his hay any longer than strictly necessary, Disco gets very unhappy. Thankfully, he doesn't need much prep for the show ring. He gives exactly the same ride every time.
